How to Stay Warm and Look Cute: The Impossible Dream

Let’s just start by stating the obvious— looking cute when it’s below zero has never been a simple feat. Not to mention, warm sweaters, winter coats and snow boots usually come with a pretty hefty price tag. But we are here to tell you that you shouldn’t have to sacrifice your style and your wallet to be warm this winter, trust us! When you finally get the courage to leave your house in these chilly temps, make the shop your first stop. Here are some great seasonal pieces in the store currently and some styling advice to keep you bundled up and impressing all the onlookers in their black parkas— all at the same time.

First we have the Holiday Party look that truly has it all-- gorgeous designer pieces, neutral and versatile colors for every future party you may attend, and it will actually keep you warm. This Jil Sander coat is so soft and SO gorgeous, and costs a fraction of the price you would pay for it directly from the designer. And it'll go with every single thing in your closet.

Next up, some pants inspo that aren't just your black leggings or worn-out fave pair of jeans. In front, vintage wool trousers that will keep you toasty and make you look like a British history professor (in a good way!). Trade out your old jeans for some sturdy, fleece lined(!!!) vintage denim to rock with your sweaters, or some leather pants to wear for a night out that you definitely won't be shivering in.

Yeah, these jackets don't really match up against a parka, but for those few days we have left where the temp lingers above 40, these would all look to die for over your favorite turtleneck or tee, and make you look like a New York City cool girl (check Instagram for proof on this point).

Obviously, a super over the top fur coat look was going to be included in this. This coat combined with a funky knit sweater will have you looking just the right amount of extra.

This color combo is a personal obsession of mine and you seriously need to come buy these things before I do. This brown oversized coat layered over a pistachio shade cardigan will you have you looking like a smart, cutesy poetry writer, if you know what I mean.

What is winter without a good, somewhat ridiculous looking hat? This shearling hat is truly to die for, and meant to be worn on your next walk in the snow. Pair it with an adorable patterned coat and you're set!
